Curriculum Clubs

Art Club 

This club is designed for young artists eager to explore their imagination and develop their artistic skills. Each week, students will engage in a variety of hands-on projects, using different mediums such as painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. Whether your child loves to doodle, paint, or craft, our Art Club offers a fun and supportive environment to experiment, learn, and express themselves.

Chorus Club

This club is the perfect place for young singers to find their voice and share their love of music! Open to all students who enjoy singing, this club offers a joyful environment to learn about music, develop vocal skills, and perform as part of a group.

Jr. Beta Club

This club is designed for younger students who are eager to excel academically, develop leadership skills, and contribute to their community. The Junior BETA Club focuses on fostering a commitment to excellence, personal growth, and service through various activities and projects. Members will participate in service initiatives, leadership training, and academic enrichment opportunities, all while working collaboratively with peers. The club emphasizes character development, teamwork, and the importance of giving back to the community.

Page Turners Book Club 

This club is perfect for fifth-grade students who love reading and want to explore a variety of genres and stories. Each session, members will discuss their favorite books, participate in engaging reading activities, and discover new and exciting titles. The club encourages a love for literature through book discussions, creative projects, and fun reading challenges. More information will be shared with fifth graders in October.

PE Club

This club is designed for students who enjoy being active, trying new sports, and engaging in physical activities. Each session offers a variety of games and exercises that promote fitness, coordination, and teamwork. From relay races and obstacle courses to soccer and basketball, members will have the chance to explore different sports and activities in a supportive and energetic environment. The PE Club emphasizes the importance of staying active, developing sportsmanship, and enjoying physical challenges.

Ukulele Club 

The HSES Ukulele Club is offered to 3rd - 5th grade students as an after-school club each Spring. In Ukulele Club, students will work on strumming skills and learn a variety of basic chords. Students will play together as an ensemble in a variety of repertoire with an emphasis on current pop music.

Non-Curriculum Clubs

Be My Valentine Club

Second and third grade students are invited to join Mrs. Davidson and Mrs. Kristin for 2 days of Valentine FUN! We will play games, make crafts, and enjoy themed snacks together. Be My Valentine Club will meet 2 times: Wednesday February 5,2025 and Wednesday, February 12, 2025 from 2:30-3:30. Students MUST be picked up by 3:30 or sent to YWCO after school when club time is over. Students sent to YWCO after school should already be enrolled. Grinchmas club is free, but we will send out a Signup Genius for donations. We will be able to serve 25 students. If more than 25 students are interested we will move to a lottery system.

FCA

The Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) Club is open to all students who want to explore their faith in a positive and encouraging environment. The club focuses on building character, developing leadership skills, and fostering a strong sense of community among students.

Grinchmas Club

Second and third grade students are invited to join Mrs. Davidson and Mrs. Kristin for 3 days of Grinchmas FUN! We will play games, make crafts, and enjoy Grinch themed snacks together. Grinchmas Club will meet 3 times: Wednesday, December 4, 2024, Wednesday, December 11, 2024, and Wednesday, December 18, 2024 from 2:30-3:30. Students MUST be picked up by 3:30 or sent to YWCO after school when club time is over. Students sent to YWCO after school should already be enrolled. Jewelry Club

We are excited to offer the Jewelry Making Club to first and second grade students this winter! We will complete fun projects such as creating bracelets, keychains, jewelry boxes, and more!
